Leopold Gmeinwieser
ActorLeopold Gmeinwieser (born November 12, 1946, in Munich, Germany) is a German actor. He began his film career in 1969 and first gained prominence in the early 1970s through leading roles in German *** films, including Bohr weiter, Kumpel.
From the mid-1970s onward, Gmeinwieser transitioned into mainstream cinema and television, becoming a familiar character actor. He appeared frequently in popular German crime series such as Tatort, Der Alte, Derrick, Der Bulle von Tölz, Polizeiinspektion 1, and Die Rosenheim-Cops, as well as in the long-running series Lindenstraße.
